 The picture I have included is of my cousin George Jr. in front of the "new" house in Eagarville. |
My Grandmother Alma Baer (Berghold) had the house that was second from the left (as you were pulling in from the back) next to Joe
(can't recall last name). I was young when we would go up there, we live in St. Louis. I know my dad has some good pictures of the
houses and of me learning to ride my bike. We would go up almost every weekend during the summer and walk to either of the ponds
and do some good fishing. I also remember some older guy that would swim the upper pond, we called him "Otter".
We had some good times in Eagerville.
My Aunt and Uncle, George and Carolyn Crow bought the last house on the right as you were heading to Gillespie which brought my time up there through high school. It was a nice place to go and relax and get out of the "BIG" city for a while.I still roll through when I get a chance but not that often. |
