The time and effort we invested in this potential resource for the City of Gillespie has not received any interest or appreciation; and it has became very apparent that there is not any interest in maintaining a current and up-to-date Gillespie, Illinois website. Information and material to update and keep current has not been furnished, and without a positive response from the viewers of these pages, I know that it is obvious that there is not a need to maintain them in an outdated state or with improper information. In the last two years or so that this website has been here, the e-mail that I have received from other counties, states and countries, shows the interest to be in geneaolgy and history.
